The local rodeo event is held at the Lamar County Fairgrounds and brought to the community by the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club with a co-sponsorship by the RRV Crime Stoppers. General admission to the show for adults is $10. Tickets can be purchased at Big Country Farm Center. The rodeo features bull rides, motocross shows, rodeo clowns, and barrel racing. The rodeo has events for children to participate as well as adults. Children under 5 will receive free entry to the event.

Mutton Busting starts at 7:30 p.m. and Rodeo at 8 p.m. nightly.
There will be bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, ladies breakaway roping and barrel racing, team roping. There will be junior barrel racing for 16 and under.
