The Paris Regatte on Lake Crook

The National Boat Racing Association brings 10-12 feet long  hydoplanes and runabout boats that race on an oval course.  These boats run with outboard motors ranging from 20 to 65 horsepower with speeds over 90 miles per hour while the driver  sits on his knees with one hand on the steering wheel and one hand on a throttle. Admission is free. Come bring the family and kids. Walk the pits and see these amazing boats up close. Friday May 1 will be testing for the drivers 10-5.  Racing will begin at noon on Saturday and Sunday May 2nd and 3rd.
